i'm interested in lattice-point enumeration problems for polyhedra, which give rise to a rich interplay of combinatorics, geometry, and number theory, as well as a profusion of applications to numerous fields within and beyond mathematics.

reviews of and various statistics about my publications can be found at mathscinet, zbmath, and google scholar.

my research has been supported by the national science foundation and by internal grants at sf state.

using the wonderfully amusing collaboration distance engines of the ams or zbmath, you can find out that my erdös and knuth numbers are 2, and my einstein numbers are 1 and 4 (depending on the einstein).
